The European Investment Bank (EIB) plans to soon approve a package of support for the energy sector of Ukraine in the amount of EUR 250 million.
This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The European Investment Bank systematically supports Ukraine in priority areas. And we continue to work on expanding our partnership. In total, the volume of EIB initiatives in the public sector is 26 projects with a volume of EUR 5.3 billion," said Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko.
According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the volume of investments provided by the EIB in all directions is about EUR 2 billion.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the EIB will provide Ukraine with EUR 560 million in 2024.
