The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has inspected the progress of preparing the reserves for participation in hostilities.
Syrskyi announced this on his Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
He emphasized that it is important to train staffs of all levels in order to maximize the combat capabilities of the troops and minimize Ukrainian losses.
"Therefore, this time I also checked the progress of preparing the reserves to participate in combat operations. I note the maximum approximation of the training to the real combat situation, the use of drop drones and FPV drones to simulate the actions of the enemy, which allows us to train our soldiers to practically destroy this extremely dangerous type of weapon," he said.
Syrskyi emphasized that it is worth using the advantage of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the use of combat drones and FPV drones in destroying enemy UAVs.
The Commander-in-Chief also said that he met with each brigade commander who is conducting defense in the directions of the enemy's main actions, discussed increasing the effectiveness of the actions of the Armed Forces, replenishing losses, providing ammunition, and solving other problematic issues.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Syrskyi, speaking about the situation at the front said that the russians are rushing to Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Region, trying to capture the islands of the floodplain on the left bank of the Dnieper River, and in fact active combat operations of varying intensity are taking place along the entire front.
Syrskyi told what needs to be done to stop the russian offensive.
