Ukrainian Navy reports absence of enemy warships in Black Sea

"There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea. In the Sea of ​​Azov, there are 3 enemy ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles," the Naval Forces of Ukraine said.

The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The message states that there is 1 enemy ship in the Mediterranean Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles.

During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, the following carried out the passage through the Kerch Strait:

to the Black Sea - 7 ships, of which 5 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;

to the Sea of ​​Azov - 4 ships, all 4 moved from the Bosphorus Strait.

Besides, the Navy noted that the russian federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of ​​1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 17, there were 4 enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov, which were not missile carriers, and there were no russian ships in the Black Sea.
