The 878th day of russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine began. Over the past day, 135 combat clashes have been recorded. 36 assault actions took place on the hot Pokrovsk axis.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its morning operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to detailed information, during July 19, the enemy launched four missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers using seven missiles, as well as 77 airstrikes, dropping 106 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than 4,500 attacks, 151 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes in the areas of population centers, in particular, Hlyboke, Mali Prokhody, Lyptsi, Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsia, Pylna and Vesele of the Kharkiv Region; Toretsk, Pivnichne, Shcherbakivka, Berestok, Zalizne, Novoselivka Persha, Oleksandropil, Tymofiivka, Vovche, Hrodivka of the Donetsk Region; Lobkove, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
On July 19, aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, and also hit one EW station, one Osa air defense system and a helipad.
The situation at the front:
- On the Kharkiv axis, five combat clashes took place in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk settlements.
- On the Kupiansk axis, the number of attacks per day was 10. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Novoosynove and Stelmakhivka.
- On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 16 times near Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, Novosadove, as well as in the Serebrianskyi forest.
- On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled the assaults of the russian invaders near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka and Pereizne. A total of 11 clashes took place.
- On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked nine times in the Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Hryhorivka and Bila Hora areas.
- On the Toretsk axis, the enemy launched 19 attacks near Pivnichne, Toretsk, Niu York and Zalizne.
- On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 36 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Kalynove, Yasnobrodivka, Skuchne, Oleksandropil and Novoselivka Persha, where the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to dislodge our units from the occupied lines. The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Novooleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha.
- On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Karlivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops.
- On the Vremivka axis, the enemy made one assault near Vodiane.
- On the Orikhiv axis, the occupiers continue to try to knock Ukrainian units out of their positions. Seven russian attacks were unsuccessful in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Robotyne and Novoandriivka.
- On the Dnieper axis, there were six combat clashes with the enemy on the left bank of the Dnieper.
- In the Huliaipole axis, the situation has not undergone significant changes. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
- On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, carries out shelling of population centers from the territory of russia, carries out sabotage and reconnaissance activities, increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
"At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle," the General Staff of the Armed Forces concluded.
