3.4 million Ukrainians manage to update their data in Reserve+ in 2 months - Defense Ministry

3.4 million Ukrainians have updated their data in the Reserve+ application, 83,500 of them abroad.

Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"July 16th passed smoothly thanks to the team that worked non-stop to avoid major disruptions due to loads in the last days. As a result, Reserve+ passed the mark of 3.4 million updates. Of these, 83,500 were abroad. Responsible citizens updated the data even in Haiti and Greenland. This inspires the digital team of the Ministry of Defense, and we thank you for your trust," she wrote.

Chernohorenko noted that in the Reserve+ there is still an opportunity to update data after July 16 at the first authorization for those who have not used the application before.

At the same time, she emphasized that responsibility for violating the law does not disappear.

Chernohorenko also informed that the digital team of the Ministry of Defense continues to work on many new functions in the Reserve+ that will make it a super app (super application), in particular, automatic postponement, the ability to change your incorrect data and polls.

She added that the digitalization of the defense sector cannot be stopped.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Dmytro Lazutkin, said that starting today, citizens will be able to update their military registration data only in territorial recruitment and social support centers and the Reserve+ application. From July 17, administrative services centers will no longer update military registration data.

According to the law on mobilization, from May 18, men were obliged to update their data for mobilization events within two months, that is, until July 16.

Violation of military accounting rules by conscripts, persons liable for military service, and reservists in a special period (in particular during martial law) will be punished with a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500).

From 12 a.m. on July 17, border guards check the presence of a military registration document of all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 when leaving Ukraine.

Since June 18, a QR code has appeared in the Reserve+ application, after scanning which the authorized bodies can check the validity of the electronic military registration document, which has the same legal force as a paper one.
