The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that Ukraine produces a "powerful number" of Bohdana self-propelled guns per month. Long-range systems are also being developed.
He announced this during a press conference.
"Today, we produce a powerful number of Bohdana self-propelled gunsper month. I believe that it is very powerful. Of the factories in Europe, I would say, our enterprise produces the largest number of artillery systems per month," said the President.
In addition, Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine, in addition to drones, is also engaged in other systems of its own production.
"We are working on other systems that will give us the opportunity to be more long-range. There are developments," he added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy also stated that 25 Patriot systems are necessary to completely cover the skies of Ukraine. At the same time, he noted that for the protection of the sky, this is not the only system that Ukraine needs, but it is the most powerful.
Regarding the progress of the mobilization for the army, the President of Ukraine said that everything is going according to plan.
Speaking about the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zelenskyy noted that Oleksandr Syrskyi faced serious challenges when the Ukrainian army was forced to oppose the enemy without receiving Western weapons.
