During the day, the russian occupiers lost 1,320 of their soldiers, seven tanks and 46 artillery systems killed and wounded in Ukraine.
This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to July 14, 2024 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 559,090 (+1,320) persons,
- tanks - 8,206 (+7) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 15,811 (+32) units,
- artillery systems - 15,262 (+46) units,
- MLRS - 1,119 (+0) units,
- air defense equipment - 890 (+1) units,
- aircraft - 361 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 326 (+0) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level - 12,108 (+39),
- cruise missiles - 2,397 (+0),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 20,538 (+77) units,
- special equipment - 2,566 (+10)
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian troops are trying to seize the tactical initiative by carrying out limited counterattacks on certain areas of the front. And they will be able to counterattack, depending on the arrival of Western aid.
Meanwhile, russia hit a public transport stop and an administrative building in Myrnohrad, Donetsk Region, with two UMPB D-30SN aerial bombs. As a result, four people were killed, and another 9 were wounded.
In total, 109 combat clashes took place since the beginning of the day. The Defense Forces continue to actively oppose the russian aggressor, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
