US President Joe Biden is not ready to talk to russian dictator vladimir putin.
He said this at a press conference after the NATO summit in Washington, European Pravda writes.
Biden said that he does not see putin's willingness to change his behavior.
"I don't see any reason to talk to putin right now. He is not ready to do much in the sense of changing his behavior. But there is no world leader with whom I am not ready to interact," Biden said.
"But is putin ready to talk? I'm not ready to talk to putin until he changes his behavior," the US Apresident emphasized.
He said that putin has a problem.
"He thought he had won the war, but he still captured 17.3% of the territory of Ukraine. They did not succeed, they suffered terrible human losses. They lost more than 350,000 soldiers, killed or wounded. More than a million educated young people left russia," he listed.
According to him, the idea that russia will fundamentally change in the near future is unrealistic. Biden also added that the russian federation will not stop at Ukraine, and recalled putin's speech before the invasion.
It will be recalled that the USA allocated a new aid package to Ukraine: it contains a Patriot battery, ammunition for HIMARS and NASAMS.
