Due to scandal with Boholiubov, ex-first deputy foreign minister, Dzhaparova asks Kuleba to dismiss her from diplomatic posts

Due to the scandal with her husband/businessman Hennadii Boholiubov, the former first deputy minister of foreign affairs, Emine Dzhaparova, is asking the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, to dismiss her from diplomatic posts.

Dzhaparova wrote about this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

At the same time, she called the events surrounding her family manipulative and unfair.

"The events that unfolded around me and my family, unfortunately, are manipulative and unfair. Therefore, at the moment, my efforts are aimed at securing myself and my children. I also made a decision for myself not to remain in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to initiate my resignation. The relevant statement I sent to the name of Minister Kuleba," she wrote.

Dzhaparova noted that for the last ten years, she devoted herself to serving her country and people; because of this, she was arrested in absentia and included in russia's sanctions list, becoming an enemy of the aggressor in the implementation of her life's work - the Crimean Platform.

She added that, regardless of positions and circumstances, she will continue her struggle in other possible forms.

Dzhaparova also emphasized that she did not break the law, did not use her official position to achieve private interests, and now has to protect her family and children, the youngest of whom is three months old.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in April 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Dzhaparova from the post of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, which she had held since June 2020.

In February 2024, Zelenskyy appointed Dzhaparova as the permanent representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna.
