On July 8, 44 people were killed as a result of a massive missile attack by the russian occupation forces. Another 196 received various wounds and injuries.
Svitlana Vodolaha, the head of the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU), stated this, her words are quoted by Espreso.
According to her, out of 44 victims of the russian missile attack, 33 were killed in Kyiv and another 11 in Kryvyi Rih of the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
196 people were injured, including 10 children. Another 11 people were rescued, including three children.
Vodolaha added that in Kyiv on July 8, rescuers processed more than 500 applications received on the "101" line regarding hits and falling debris.
"In total, the rescuers worked at 18 locations. Five locations were the most massive and the scariest - the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, the Adonis medical facility, a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, in the Holosiyivskyi district, and a business center on Ushynskoho Street. That is where the people were killed," she said.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier today the director general of the Okhmatdyt hospital, Volodymyr Zhovnir, said that at the time of the missile attack by the russian occupiers, there were 600 patients and the same number of employees in the hospital.
It will be recalled that on the evening of July 10, it became known that a child, who was in critical condition at the time of the missile attack on Okhmatdyt, died in the hospital.
