Losses of personnel of the russian troops on July 9 increased by 1,100 to 554,510 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 2 tanks, 11 armored fighting vehicles, and 36 artillery systems.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Thus, the enemy lost 2 tanks (total – 8,180), 11 armored combat vehicles (total - 15,715), 36 artillery systems (total - 15,051), 3 anti-aircraft defenses (total - 883), 57 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total - 20,269), 15 units of special equipment (total - 2,531), and 51 drones (total - 11,973).
Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 361 aircraft, 326 helicopters, 1,115 jet artillery units, 2,389 cruise missiles, 28 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the loss of personnel of the russian troops on July 8 increased by 1,220 to 553,410 people, equipment - by 7 tanks, 19 armored vehicles, and 49 artillery systems.
