Overnight into June 30, drones attacked the Lipetsk Oblast of the aggressor state of russia. According to the media, the Novolipetsk metallurgical plant was under attack and there is damage.
So, according to Baza, the attack on the plant began at 02:00 a.m. and lasted more than an hour. It is claimed that a total of 7 UAVs fell and exploded on the territory of the plant during this time.
According to preliminary data, one of the downed drones damaged the oxygen separation unit. Four more drones tried to attack the oxygen station building. One of the drones also damaged a garage - the garage caught fire, but the flames were quickly extinguished.
In addition, a fragment of a downed drone damaged the roof of a house and a shed.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
The governor of the Lipetsk Oblast of the russian federation, Igor Artamonov, also reported on the attack of drones on the oblast and stated that 9 UAVs were allegedly shot down over the industrial zone of Lipetsk.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation stated that during the night, air defense destroyed 36 drones: 15 UAVs over the territory of the Kursk, 9 UAVs over the territory of the Lipetsk, 4 UAVs each over the territories of the Voronezh and Bryansk, and 2 UAVs each over the territories of the Oryol and Belgorod Oblasts.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the military training ground of the 726th Air Defense Training Center - military unit 33859 - in the city of Yeysk in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation and destroyed about 100 russian drones there.
