"Finland is committed to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia's unjustified aggression. This is not only about Ukraine, but ultimately about the right of all free peoples to exist. We Finns have learned from our own history how important this issue is," states Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen .

In addition, in the first project of amendments to the budget for 2024, Finland allocated the necessary funds to participate in the Czech initiative on joint procurement of ammunition for Ukraine.
