Zelenskyy will meet with Biden twice in coming weeks – White House

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet American President Joe Biden twice in the near future. The first meeting is scheduled for this week.

This follows from a statement by White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, quoted by AFP.

In particular, Zelenskyy and Biden will hold a meeting this week in France. Both presidents will attend events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy. As Sullivan noted, Biden "will have an opportunity to talk with President Zelenskyy."

"He will hold a meeting with him to talk about the state of affairs in Ukraine and how we can continue and deepen our support for Ukraine," the White House adviser said.

According to him, Zelenskyy and Biden will also meet on the sidelines of the G7 summit, which will take place on June 13-15 in Italy. It is expected that attention will be focused on the use of frozen russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to Bloomberg, U.S. President Joe Biden will probably miss the Ukrainian peace summit, which will be held in June in Switzerland.
