In January-March 2024, MHP (Kyiv), one of the largest producers of poultry meat, reduced its net profit 3.1 times, or by USD 33 million to USD 16 million compared to the 1st quarter of 2023.
This is stated in the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
At the same time, revenues decreased by 4%, or USD 27 million, to USD 719 million during the specified period.
It is noted that in the 1st quarter of 2024, adjusted EBITDA increased by 2% to USD 127 million compared to the 1st quarter of 2023.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, MHP ended 2023 with a net profit of USD 142 million against a loss of USD 231 million in 2022.
At the same time, the company's revenues for the year increased by 14.4%, or USD 379 million, to USD 3.021 billion compared to 2022.
On February 2, 2021, the Myronivskyi Khliboprodukt company officially changed its legal name to MHP.
MHP is a vertically integrated complex of enterprises for the production of chicken, hatching eggs, and fodder, engages in crop cultivation, cultivating 360,000 hectares of land, and produces chicken meat under the name Nasha Riaba.
