AFU destroy 1,300 invaders, 33 armored vehicles and 37 artillery systems. General Staff reports losses of russians for day

Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine during the day from May 28 to 29 amounted to 1,300 occupiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor has lost more than 505,000 soldiers. In addition, during the day, the Armed Forces destroyed 33 armored fighting vehicles and 37 artillery systems.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 05/29/24 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - 505,100 (+1,300) persons were eliminated;
• tanks – 7,700 (+8) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 14,891 (+33) units;
• artillery systems - 13,066 (+37) units;
• MLRS – 1,087 (+2) units;
• air defense equipment - 815 units;
• aircraft - 357 (+1) units;
• helicopters - 326 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 10,510 (+28) units;
• cruise missiles – 2,222 units;
• ships/boats - 27 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• motor vehicles and tank trucks - 17,796 (+56) units;
• special equipment – 2,142 (+20) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on May 27 increased by 1,460 to 503,800 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 21 tanks, 40 armored fighting vehicles, and 48 artillery systems of the enemy.
