Russia's applications for gas transit to Europe through Ukraine for a week did not demonstrate stability

Applications for pumping russian gas to Europe through the territory of Ukraine have not been stable this week.

Such indicators were reported by representatives of the hydrocarbon monopolist of the terrorist country of russia Gazprom. The relevant data was distributed by the economic information platform Reuters.

The quantitative request was on different days ranging from 42.1 to 42.4 million cubic meters per day.

It should be noted that in May 2022, Ukraine stopped receiving transit gas through the Sokhranivka station, citing force majeure circumstances and proposing to transfer all transit volumes to Sudzha.

In September 2022, the main supply route for russian gas to Europe, the Nord Stream pipeline, was completely stopped.

The transit of russian gas through Poland to Germany through the Yamal-Europe pipeline, through which up to 15% of Gazprom's export supplies to Europe and Turkiye passed, was suspended in 2022 after russian sanctions in response to the Polish owner of the gas pipeline.

According to the GTS Operator of Ukraine, in 2023 the transit of russian gas through Ukraine decreased by 28.5% to 14.65 billion cubic meters from 20.5 billion cubic meters in 2022.
