Netherlands taking measures to quickly deliver additional air defense and artillery equipment to Ukraine - Rutte

Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte stressed that Ukraine badly needs the help of allies due to the onslaught of air attacks by the aggressor state of russia. According to him, the Netherlands is taking measures to ensure the rapid delivery of additional air defense and artillery shells.

He announced this on X.

"Russia's aggression in and against Ukraine continues unabated. Air strikes on Kharkiv and other places caused fresh civilian casualties today and in the past few days. To withstand this onslaught, Ukraine badly needs our help. The new military support package that the US is now supplying is crucial in this respect,” it was said.

He said that today he spoke with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about "everything the Netherlands s doing to support his country."

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands said that his country is participating in the German initiative to quickly supply long-range air defense systems. The Dutch Ministry of Defense is also working to find equipment for air defense.

In addition, the Netherlands is working with Denmark and the Czech Republic to quickly supply air defense and ammunition, and continues to explore options for further measures. And also they take part in the initiative of Estonia to supply Ukraine with ammunition from existing stocks.
