The Verkhovna Rada has introduced a fine from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500 for violating the legislation on defense, mobilization training, and mobilization in a special period. A total of 256 out of the minimum required 226 Verkhovna Rada members backed the adoption of respective Bill 10379.

An MP from the Voice faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to it, violation of the legislation on defense, mobilization training, and mobilization in a special period (in particular, during martial law) entails the imposition of a fine on citizens from 1,000 to 1,500 of the tax-exempt minimum personal incomes of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,000).

For officials of state authorities, local self-government bodies, legal entities, and public associations, the fine will be from 2,000 to 3,500 of the tax-exempt minimum personal incomes (from UAH 34,000 to UAH 59,500).

Violation of military accounting rules by conscripts, conscripts, and reservists during a special period (in particular, during martial law) is proposed to be punished with a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 tax-exempt minimum personal incomes of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers proposed to the Council to fine citizens from UAH 150,000 to UAH 204,000 for violating the legislation on mobilization.
