Losses among personnel of the russian troops on May 7 increased by 970 to 477,430 people; Ukrainian defenders also eliminated 13 tanks, 19 armored fighting vehicles, and 30 artillery systems.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) posted on the Facebook social network, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
During the day, the enemy lost 13 tanks (total – 7,418), 19 armored fighting vehicles (total – 14,246), 30 artillery systems (total – 12,317), 40 units of motor vehicles and tankers (total – 16,549), two units of special equipment (total – 2,019), 11 drones (total – 9,728) and two cruise missiles (total – 2,151).
Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 792 anti-aircraft defenses, 349 aircraft, 325 helicopters, 1,057 rocket artillery units, 26 ships/boats, and 1 submarine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, losses of personnel of the russian troops on May 6 increased by 1,160 to 476,460 people, equipment - by 25 tanks and 37 artillery systems.
