The actual volume of grain exports by Ukraine since the beginning of the 2023/2024 marketing year (July 2023 - June 2024) and as of April 29 had made 40.711 million tons, down 1.6% or 0.643 million year over year.
This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
A total of 15,550,000 tons of wheat, 2,181,000 tons of barley, 1.2,000 tons of rye, and 22,502,000 tons of corn have already been exported.
At the same time, during the specified period, the export of wheat flour and flour from other crops decreased by 32.3%, or by 41,000 tons, to 86,000 tons.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, almost 40 million tons of goods were exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor in 7 months, while this figure reached the figure of 2021 exports from the ports of Great Odesa.
