Today, April 25, Ukrzaliznytsia became the object of massive attacks by the russian occupiers. As a result of the attack in the Donetsk Region, three railway workers were killed and four were wounded and contused, three more workers were injured during the attack in the Kharkiv Region. In the Cherkasy Region, the railway infrastructure was damaged, without casualties.
This is stated in the message of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"As a result of an enemy attack in the Donetsk Region, three railway workers were killed while performing work. Four workers received shrapnel wounds and contusions. Currently, people are hospitalized. Silent grief and an irreparable tragedy for the railway family. We express our deepest condolences to the relatives of the deceased," the message reads.
Bohdan Kovaliov, 26, Serhii Kuznetsov, 37, and Mykhailo Bandrivskyi, 26, were killed as a result of the russian attack. All three worked as electricians on the railway.
The occupiers also attacked the Kharkiv Region, as a result of which three employees of Ukrzaliznytsia were injured. In the Cherkasy Region, as a result of an enemy attack, the railway infrastructure was damaged, and there were no casualties.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the past day, April 24, 11 settlements in the Donetsk Region were under shelling by the military of the aggressor country of russia. The enemy used missiles, rocket launchers, artillery and drones. Four people were injured.
