Electricity consumption limited in Kharkiv Region and Dnipropetrovsk Region on Monday

On Monday, April 22, electricity consumption is limited in the Kharkiv Region and Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region.

This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Energy, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Due to network restrictions on the lines of the transmission system operator, blackout schedules were applied yesterday in the Kharkiv Region. Restrictions in this region, as well as in Kryvyi Rih, are still in effect today. Yesterday, in the evening hours, Ukraine received emergency assistance from Poland, Slovakia, and Romania. The total volume of supplies made up less than a percent of the daily consumption," the report said.

Emergency supply of electricity and current day is also carried out.

At the same time, the total amount of involved electricity is forecasted to be 2% of the forecasted amount of daily consumption.

For the current day, the import of electricity in the amount of 7,858 MWh is forecast, the export of electricity is not expected.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 19, electricity consumption was also limited in the Kharkiv Region and Dnipropetrovsk Region.
