She was born in the city of Reni, Odesa Region, on October 2, 1986. Now, she lives in Kyiv.

2008 – graduated from Odesa National Law Academy, majoring in Jurisprudence (Master of Laws).
2022 - received a master's degree majoring in Public Management and Administration at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Senior expert of the Project Office of Non-Food Product Safety and Consumer Rights Protection at the Ministry of Development, Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Project manager of the Program titled E-Governance for Accountability and Participation Program (EGAP), financed by Switzerland and implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital and INNOVABRIDGE Foundation.
Project coordinator of the introduction of COVID certificates to the electronic service of state services Diia.
2018-2023 - project manager at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine (electronic hospitals, YeMalyatko, Drone Army).
September 27, 2023 - The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Kateryna Chernohorenko as Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitization.
