Russians occupy one and advance near three more settlements in Donetsk Region - DeepState
The Ukrainian analytical project DeepState claims that the army of the aggressor country russia has occupied one settlement and advanced near three more in the western part of the Donetsk Region.
This is evidenced by the latest update of the DeepState interactive map.
According to OSINT analysts, the russians' advance was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction. They allegedly occupied the town of Rivne. In addition, they expanded their control zone in Rodynske, Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk.
At the time of publication, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not confirm or deny the information published by DeepState.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, February 16, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the Ukrainian delegation is going to Geneva, where a new round of trilateral talks will take place.
As a reminder, yesterday, February 15, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the week the occupiers dropped more than 1,200 aerial bombs on Ukraine.
The President also said that the aggressor country of russia is currently holding 7,000 captured Ukrainians. There are more than 4,000 russian prisoners in Ukraine.
