Selection to supervisory boards of energy companies announced - Ministry of Economy

The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine announces the selection of candidates for further appointment to the supervisory boards of a number of strategically important enterprises in the energy sector of Ukraine.

This is said in a statement by the Ministry, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The following vacant positions are currently open:

The announcement says that the candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in senior positions in the public and/or private sector of the economy in the energy sector (or equivalent positions), experience as a member of the supervisory board for 3 years is an advantage; higher education; speak Ukrainian and English (for Ukrainian citizens), or only English (for foreign citizens) and the ability to devote at least 50 working days a year to the performance of duties.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in late November, a competition for the positions of independent members of the supervisory board of Energoatom was launched.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko said that in order to restore trust around NNEGC Energoatom, it is necessary to hold a competition for the supervisory board not according to a shortened procedure, but according to a full and open competitive procedure, in accordance with OECD standards, provided for all strategic Ukrainian state-owned enterprises.
