Work on peace plan continues, reports of alleged agreement or removal of clauses have nothing to do with reality - Umerov

Work on the peace plan continues, Ukraine is carefully studying the proposals of its American partners regarding the peace plan, expecting the same correct attitude towards the Ukrainian position, media reports of alleged "agreement" or "removal of clauses" have nothing to do with reality. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Yesterday, the President of Ukraine held a conversation with the American delegation authorized by President Trump. Today, this work continues in Kyiv at the technical level between the teams. We are carefully studying all the partners' proposals, expecting the same correct attitude to the Ukrainian position. Publications in the media about the alleged "agreement" or "removal of points" have nothing to do with reality. These are examples of unverified information that arose outside the context of consultations," he noted.

Umerov emphasized that the Ukrainian team is carefully working out the partners' proposals within the framework of the unchanging principles of Ukraine - sovereignty, security of people and a just peace.

He also reported that during his trip to the US his task was technical - organizing meetings and preparing for the dialogue.

"I did not provide any assessments or, even more so, approval of any points. This is not within my powers and does not comply with the procedure," he emphasized.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 20, the Office of the President reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially received a draft plan from the American side, which, according to the American side, can intensify diplomacy. According to the report, Zelenskyy expects to discuss with US President Donald Trump the available diplomatic opportunities and the main points needed for peace in the coming days.

On November 19, the Axios publication wrote that the US and the aggressor country of russia have secretly developed a plan to end the war in Ukraine, it consists of 28 points and contains maximalist demands from Moscow. The media learned that the Trump administration's peace plan provides for territorial concessions to Ukraine, significant restrictions for the Ukrainian army and the fixation of the refusal to join NATO in the Constitution.

NBC News reported, citing its own sources, that Trump approved the settlement plan developed in secret from Ukraine and its partners.
