Ukrainian delegation prepares presentation for Trump on how Tomahawk missiles will be used - Reuters
The Ukrainian delegation has prepared a presentation for a meeting with US President Donald Trump on how they plan to use Tomahawk cruise missiles if they are transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Reuters reporter Graham Slattery reported this on his X-account on Friday, October 17.
The reporter noted that he had received information about the intentions of the Ukrainian delegation from a senior Reuters source.
"Per senior source to Reuters, the Ukrainian delegation has prepared a presentation for Trump regarding how they'd use Tomahawks if they were provided and the effect it would have on the war effort," Slattery wrote.
According to him, the statements by the American and russian sides regarding the meeting of the leaders in Hungary, which Slattery called the "Budapest summit," came as a surprise.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 17, US President Donald Trump said that the US would not transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine as the US needs them.
On October 17, the kremlin confirmed the preparation of a meeting between russian dictator vladimir putin and US President Donald Trump.
On October 16, Donald Trump, after a conversation with russian dictator vladimir putin, said that they agreed to meet in Hungary.
