Swedish Foreign Ministry summons russian ambassador over russian attacks on Ukrainian cities
Today, August 29, the Swedish Foreign Ministry summoned the russian ambassador in connection with russian attacks on Ukraine.

"Today, August 29, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the russian ambassador in Stockholm. This was done to express a protest against russia's continued attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians. During the attack on August 28, the premises of the EU delegation and the British Council were also damaged," the message says.
It is noted that during the summons, it was emphasized that russia's obligation to protect the civilian population and civilian infrastructure in accordance with international humanitarian law was emphasized.
As a reminder, the russian attack damaged the building of the EU delegation in Kyiv, as well as the building of the British Council. A British Council guard was injured during the russian attack on Kyiv.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced that the country had summoned the russian ambassador over the russian attack on Kyiv on the night of August 28.
