Russia on behalf of Defense Intelligence spreads fake about "especially massive" shelling of Ukraine
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine warned that the aggressor country of russia is conducting a massive information and psychological attack against Ukraine, sending out messages on behalf of the department about the threat of "especially massive" shelling.
This was reported by the press service of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Thus, it is noted that a message about the threat of a "especially massive" missile and bomb strike on Ukrainian cities today is being spread through messengers and social networks allegedly on behalf of the Defense Intelligence.
"This message is a fake, it contains grammatical errors typical of russian information and psychological operations. We urge you to trust information only from official resources and from the spokespersons of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense," the intelligence service emphasized.
At the same time, the Defense Intelligence reminded people not to ignore air raid sirens and go down to shelters, but urged not to give in to panic.
"The enemy, unable to subdue Ukrainians by force, resorts to measures of intimidation and psychological pressure on society. We ask you to be vigilant and steadfast," the department added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of November 20, the US Embassy in Ukraine announced that it was suspending its work for today due to confirmed information about the risk of a possible large-scale air strike on Ukraine.
The embassies of Italy and Spain are also closed to visitors in Kyiv today. Later, the Greek embassy in Kyiv announced a temporary closure to visitors for security reasons.
At the same time, the NSDC says that the missile danger will persist for several more months, as the russian federation has accumulated a large number of missiles at airfields.
