Deadline for men to update their data ends tomorrow. What awaits those who did not have time to do it
Tomorrow, July 16, is the deadline for men to update their data.
This is stated in the law on mobilization, which entered into force on May 18, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to it, citizens of Ukraine who are on military registration are obliged to clarify their residential address, contact numbers, e-mail addresses (if e-mail is available) and other personal data within 60 days from the date of entry into force of the law on mobilization.
The law entered into force on May 18, so the sixty-day countdown began on the same day, respectively, July 16 - the last day for updating data.
If a person liable for military service is on the territory of Ukraine, he must update his data by arriving independently at the territorial recruitment and social support center at the place of military registration or at his place of residence, or at the center for the provision of administrative services, or through the electronic office of the conscript, those liable for military service of the reservist (if available).
In case of stay abroad - by notification to the official e-mail address or to the official phone number indicated on the official website of the territorial recruitment and social support center at the place of stay on the military record, or through the electronic account of the conscript, those liable for military service, reservist (if available).
On May 20, the law entered into force, which introduced a fine for violations of the legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization in a special period in the amount of from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500.
According to it, violation of the legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization in a special period (in particular, during martial law) entails the imposition of a fine on citizens from 1,000 to 1,500 of the tax-free minimum income of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500).
For officials of state authorities, local self-government bodies, legal entities and public associations, the fine will be from 2,000 to 3,500 of the tax-free minimum income of citizens (from UAH 34,000 to UAH 59,500).
Violation of military accounting rules by conscripts, those liable for military service, and reservists during a special period (in particular, during martial law) is proposed to be punished with a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500).
In addition, if during the mobilization the citizen did not specify the data, the territorial recruitment and social support centers apply to the National Police for administrative detention and delivery of this person to the territorial recruitment and social support center.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Serhii Ionushas, the head of the Verkhovna Rada's law enforcement committee, said that a person can be fined separately for each violation of military registration rules.
Territorial recruitment centers will issue fines in absentia for violations of mobilization legislation.
