AFU destroy 980 occupiers and 37 armored vehicles. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 980 russian occupiers per day, thus the total losses of the russian army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion amounted to about 479,710 soldiers. Also, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 47 enemy artillery systems.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on its Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 05/10/24 were approximately:
- personnel - about 479,710 (+ 980) people eliminated;
- tanks - 7,434 (+ 5) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 14,313 (+ 32) units;
- artillery systems - 12,387 (+ 47) units;
- MLRS - 1,062 (+ 4) units;
- air defense equipment - 795 (+ 2) units;
- aircraft - 349 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 9,826 (+ 51) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,192 units;
- ships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 16,691 (+ 73) units;
- special equipment - 2,031 (+ 4) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Defense Forces eliminated 1,300 more russian invaders for the day before last, thus the total losses of the enemy's army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion amounted to about 478,730 soldiers. Also, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 tanks, 35 AFVs and 23 artillery systems of the invaders.
