On June 8 and during the night of June 9, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a number of targets belonging to russian occupation forces. In particular, an ammunition depot in the area of Prokhorovka of the Belgorod Oblast of the russian federation was hit.
As a reminder, a powerful explosion occurred near Belgorod in the aggressor country of russia on Monday, June 8. It turned out that the explosion occurred at a russian military ammunition depot. It was previously reported that it may have been caused by a strike by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Enemy command posts were struck in the areas of Mykilske and Shevchenko Pershe in the Donetsk Region, as well as in Naumovka in the Belgorod Oblast and Iskra in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation.
Strikes were also carried out against the occupiers’ UAV command posts in the area of Shevchenko Pershe in the Donetsk Region, Zaliznychne in the Zaporizhzhia Region, and Oleshky in the Kherson Region.
In the area of Fedorivka in the Donetsk Region, an enemy logistics hub was struck, as were warehouses containing material and technical resources in the area of Mykhailivka in the Luhansk Region and the area of Hiunivka in the Zaporizhzhia Region.
Strikes were carried out against enemy troop concentrations in the areas of Kurakhove, Kalynove, Shevchenko, and Stupochky in the Donetsk Region, Novohryhorivka in the Zaporizhzhia Region, as well as Iskra in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation).
In addition, it was confirmed that on June 5, 2026, eight fuel storage tanks were destroyed and nine were damaged in the area of the port of Mariupol in the Donetsk Region.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 7, Ukrainian drones attacked the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation. In the area of Novorossiysk, the Grushovaya transshipment station was hit; oil products are transported through this station to the nearest port for loading onto ships.
