PACE Appoints Rada Member Liovochkina Co-Rapporteur Of Monitoring Committee For Armenia

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has appointed Verkhovna Rada member Yulia Liovochkina (the faction of the Opposition Bloc in the Ukrainian parliament) as a co-rapporteur of the monitoring committee for Armenia's commitments before the Council of Europe.

The press service of the Opposition Bloc announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Yulia Liovochkina has been also delegated by the group of socialists of the PACE to the Committee on Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional Affairs.

The January session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is underway in Strasbourg.

On January 22, 2018, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe elected Italian citizen and the leader of the group of socialists in the PACE Michele Nicoletti as the president.

Yulia Liovochkina is also a member of the group of socialists of the PACE.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Verkhovna Rada member Yulia Liovochkina is the first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
