In the course of upgrading the state budget for 2018, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine raised expenditures for salaries of employees of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO), Ukrainian Parliament, Cabinet of Ministers and the State Management of Affairs by UAH 550 million.
Respective amendment read out aloud by member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction Maksym Kuriachyi has been taken into consideration during adoption of the state budget for 2018, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, expenditures for the PGO were raised by UAH 400 million, Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by UAH 60 million, State Management of Affairs by UAH 26.1 million, Cabinet of Ministers by UAH 28.5 million, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine by UAH 31.4 million and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (NAMSU) by UAH 3 million.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at almost midnight, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the state budget for 2018.
