World Bank Concerned About Situation Involving Anticorruption Bodies In Ukraine

The World Bank has expressed its concerns about the situation involving anticorruption bodies in Ukraine.

Press service of the World Bank has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 29, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained Serhii Titenkov (Boyarskyi), an agent of the National Anticorruption Bureau (NACB), on suspicion of giving a bribe worth USD 15,000 to first deputy chairperson of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Dina Pimakhova.

The SBU and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) also conducted searches at a safe apartment of the NACB agent.
