The United States has expressed doubts that Ukraine wants to combat corruption.
The U.S. Department of State has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, Ukraine is trying to undermine efforts of independent anticorruption institutions to fight corruption.
The United States calls on all branches of the Ukrainian authorities to unite to totally eliminate corruption.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Director of the National Anticorruption Bureau Artem Sytnik says that detention of an NACB's agent by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) triggered termination of all under-cover operations of the Bureau.
