Emergency Situations Service Removes 2 Shells Of World War Two From Territory Of Askold Grave Park In Kyiv July 23

Sappers of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine removed two shells of World War Two from the territory of the Askold Grave park in Kyiv on July 23.

The press service of the State Emergency Situations Service announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The statement reads that two citizens found two shells AS-76 on the territory of the park on July 23.

The press service says sappers of the State Emergency Situations Service have found and removed from Kyiv 525 shells and bombs of World War Two since January 2017.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, sappers of the State Emergency Situations Service have found 35,918 unexploded ordnances since January 2017.
