The consular service department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine says there are no Ukrainian citizens among victims of the earthquake near the coast of Turkey in the Aegean Sea.
The consular service department announced this in a statement on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The information is valid as at 8 a.m.
Media have reported about 6.7-magnitude earthquake in the Aegean Sea near the coast of Turkey. They have also reported about a tsunami in the Mediterranean Sea.
A governor of a province in Turkey says several people got minor traumas.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 14, Ukraine's Ambassador to Egypt Hennadii Latii said some media reports that citizens of Ukraine were among the victims of an attack in a hotel in Egypt had not been confirmed.
