The total state (direct and secured) debt of Ukraine in February rose by 0.77% or USD 0.55 billion to USD 71.76 billion as at February 28.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The state and state-secured debt as at late February was UAH 1,941.36 billion or USD 71.76 billion against UAH 1,931.02 billion or USD 71.21 billion a month earlier.
The total direct state debt as at February 28 was UAH 1,665.94 billion (USD 61.58 billion) against UAH 1,651.69 billion a month earlier.
At that the direct foreign debt decreased by USD 40 million to USD 36.14 billion, while the direct domestic debt reached UAH 68.3 billion.
As at February 28, the state-secured debt was UAH 275.43 billion or USD 10.18 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2016, the total state debt of Ukraine rose from USD 65.51 to USD 70.97 billion.
