GUAM Countries Agree To Mutually Acknowledge Customs Procedures

Member countries of the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (Georgia - Ukraine - Azerbaijan - Moldova) have agreed to mutually acknowledge some customs procedures.

Respective protocol was signed by heads of the GUAM governments on Monday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The ministers signed the protocol on mutual acknowledgement of customs procedures regarding vehicles transported across state borders of the GUAM countries.

According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, mutual acknowledgement of customs procedures facilitates growth of trade between the countries.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine hopes to come to agreement on introduction of free trade area at the GUAM governments heads meeting in Ukraine in 2017.
