The Security Service of Ukraine says there were witnesses who saw a drone drop explosives on the ammunition depot in Balakleya, Kharkiv region.

SBU head Vasyl Hrytsak announced this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The investigation team of the Security Service of Ukraine considers a subversive action as the main theory.

Hrytsak says the army of Ukraine does not have enough means to neutralize the threat of the enemy's drones with incendiary shells.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to military prosecutor of Kharkiv garrison who is currently staying at the scene, a subversive action took place at several warehouses that store rocket and missile artillery on Thursday, March 23 at 2:56 a.m.

There was an explosion and a fire that had caused the ammunition to detonate.

Traffic on five highways is restricted over the fire at the ammunition depot in Balakleya, Kharkiv region, on March 23, 2017.
