Ex-Duma MP Voronenkov's Testimony Confirms Yanukovych Used To Cover Up Russia's Military Aggression

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko states that the testimonial evidence provided by former member of the State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly (Russian Parliament), Denis Voronenkov, confirmed that former president Viktor Yanukovych was used to cover up Russia's military aggression.

Lutsenko has said this at a briefing, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He added that Voronenkov's assassination proved out accurate course of the investigation into the case against Yanukovych.

Lutsenko also said that Voronenkov's testimony will be attached to the trial to be launched at the earliest possible time.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Voronenkov was killed near the Premier Palace hotel in the center of Kyiv.
