Ex-Duma MP Ponomarev: Voronenkov Murdered Before Their Meeting

Former member of the State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly (Russian Parliament), Ilya Ponomarev states that former Duma member Denis Voronenkov was murdered right before their meeting.

Ponomarev has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Voronenkov was killed near Premier Palace hotel at 11:25 a.m. He was going to meet with me. Have no words. His guard managed to injure the attacker. I said that Voronenkov was not a swindler but an investigator [probably he meant a witness] deadly for the Russian enforcers," he wrote.

Ponomarev expressed condolences with Voronenkov's family.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Voronenkov was killed near the Premier Palace hotel on March 23.
