The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the bill on the Financial Investigations Service.
Respective decision was taken at the Wednesday meeting of the government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk presented the document.
He said that the Service will employ 3,500 people instead of earlier announced 2,500.
The document envisions establishment of seven regional centers each employing 300 people.
The central department will employ 400 employees.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that the document will be sent to the National Reforms Council for consideration.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late 2016, the Verkhovna Rada declared the Tax Police illegal from January 1, 2017 in view of a technical mistake.
On February 23, the Verkhovna Rada refused to resume operation of the Tax Police.
