The Russian authorities have commended the procedure to transfer to Ukraine 12 convicts from the annexed Crimea.
Mykhailo Chaplyha, a representative of Ukraine's Ombudsperson Valeria Lutkovska, wrote this on his Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The movement of 12 (convicts) has begun," he wrote.
He gives no further details.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Justice Ministry of Ukraine said Russia postponed a planned transfer to the mainland Ukraine of 12 convicts from Crimea on March 3, 2017.
On December 29, 2016, the so-called Donetsk People's Republic transferred to the Ukrainian government 15 convicts.
