National Public TV Company Expects 1,500 Foreign Journalists At Eurovision 2017

The public joint stock company National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine expects 1,500 foreign journalists at the Eurovision 2017 international song contest in Kyiv in May 2017.

Company Deputy Director General Pavlo Hrytsak announced this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee for freedom of speech and information policy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He said the company is planning a press tour for foreign journalists in early April.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November 2016, the Kyiv city state administration said it expected arrival of 20,000 foreign tourists for the Eurovision 2017 international song contest.
