The intelligence service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine says there was an assassination attempt on Military Commissar of so-called Luhansk People's Republic on March 16, 2017.
The press service of the Ministry's Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine wrote this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement does not specify who committed the assassination attempt.
According to the statement, the assassination attempt is linked with the criminal business of so-called Military Commissar of LPR.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Intelligence Department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine states that a total of 16 militants were killed and 35 were wounded in the antiterrorist operation on March 6-12, 2017.
