The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved establishment of the State Register of Draft-Age Persons.
A total of 236 deputies backed respective bill No. 2504а-д, when 226 votes enough to pass the decision, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Register maintained electronically and has single centralized database.
The Ministry of Defense owns the Register and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine administers the Register.
The Register contains and is added with personal and service data of draft-age persons.
No consent of draft-age persons is required for processing of their personal data.
Personal data are: full name, date and place of birth; sex; place of residence and stay; name and date of birth of parents; passport details; information on recognition of a person incompetent; employment information; ID number; digitized image of a person's face; information on the date of departure from Ukraine and the date of return to Ukraine; education information.
A draft-age person shall provide a body maintaining the Register (military registration and enlistment office) with true information about personal data.
To form the database, the Central Election Commission once submits information about citizens of Ukraine aged 18-60.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 6, 2016, the Verkhovna Rada sent for repeat second reading the bill No. 2504а-д.
