Moldova Court Extends Judge Chaus Arrest Until March 25

On March 14, a court in the Republic of Moldova extended the arrest of Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv judge Mykola Chaus for another 10 days until March 25.

Ukrainian News Agency has learnt this from head of Moldova Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office Head Viorel Morar.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the prosecutor's office of Moldova had urged the court to prolong the arrest of Chaus until April 15.

Chaus is suspected of graft and illegal crossing of the border with Moldova.

Ukraine has forwarded documents requesting his extradition.
